FCS New Building Renovation
Building Progress
In 2020, by God's grace and the generosity of our extended FCS family, we were able to purchase 104 W. Golden Lane (New Oxford), without taking on any bank loans! Since then, in addition to continuing to run our school in the challenges of the post-Covid environment, launching our first athletic teams, continuing to meet and touch the lives new precious students, we have overcome many obstacles in the process of converting this building into a usable school facility.
We first faced legal challenges to get zoning permission to even have a school at this address, completed an incredible amount of demo work through our hard-working volunteers, had architectural plans drawn up and submitted (twice!) to secure work permits. Despite delays from material shortages, we installed a new roof in March of 2022. Worker shortages slowed progress again, but most recently we have been blessed by work crews who have put in new windows, worked on all new electric and HVAC systems, built an elevator shaft, and installed outdoor lighting and completed an exterior paint job.
Much work is still to be done, but after all the delays, doubts, and distractions, it is so exciting to see this building really take shape! We look forward to the day (in the near future!) when the Lord will be honored in our new classrooms through the teaching of Truth and Love to impact every precious student who comes through our doors!

NEW: Summer Building Update
Paver Stone Promotion
We've launched our Paver Stone Promotion Campaign with the goal of raising $500,000 of the total $1.3 million of our estimated costs. Every paver that an individual or business sponsors will become part of a walk and outdoor seating area around the flagpole of our new property and can be engraved with a personalized inscription (see form).
